The Who Am I Project

 28 days.
28 questions.
One unforgettable journey back to yourself.

You’re not lost.
You’re just ready to remember.

There comes a point when the roles you’ve played, the stories you’ve carried, or the coping mechanisms you’ve relied on… begin to fall away.

And suddenly, the question hits:

“Who even am I, when I’m not trying to be who everyone else needs me to be?”

Maybe you’ve outgrown the version of you who once survived by shrinking, pleasing, performing, or numbing.

Maybe a big life shift has made old answers irrelevant.

Or maybe you just know there’s more, but don’t yet have the words for it.

This 28-day experience is here to guide you back, not to who you were, but to who you truly are beneath the noise.

This is for you if...

You’re longing to feel more like yourself again, even if you’re not sure what that means yet.

You’re navigating a major identity shift, through healing, growth, sobriety, burnout, or change.

4.png

You’re done with looking outside yourself for answers, and ready to rebuild trust in your own voice, values, and vision

You feel unanchored, unclear, or like a blank slate (with no idea where to start)

Do any of these sound familiar...?

  • “I know I’ve changed, but I don’t know who I’ve changed into.”

  • “I’m tired of asking everyone else what I should do.”

  • “I don’t know what I care about anymore… or if I ever really knew.”

  • “I’ve done the work to let go of the past, but now what?”

  • “There’s a life I want to live… I just need help finding the me who can live it.”

Why I Created This...

For years, I built a life on being “fine.”

On chasing approval, numbing pain, and performing my way through uncertainty.

And then it all stopped. I got quiet. I got sober.

And in the silence, the question appeared:

“Who am I now?”

Not the version who coped. Not the version who conformed.

But me.

The problem? I didn’t know where to begin.

I had the curiosity but I needed structure, a guide, and a way to hear my own voice without drowning in overwhelm.

So I created what I wish I’d had:

28 questions to meet the self I’d never really known.

Are you ready to take on this adventure?

Amelia, UK

This program revealed so much about who I am at my core -

my strengths, weaknesses,

fears, goals, and what truly

matters to me.

It gave me a much clearer understanding of where to focus my energy, which has helped me become more productive and make meaningful strides in my growth and overall wellbeing.

Will, UK

"Some questions were easier for me to answer, which really showed me the progress I’ve made.

The ones I found more challenging gave me a lot to think about. I’d sit with them throughout the day, sometimes even coming back to them the next day, and they really helped me gauge the areas I needed to work on."

Sara, USA

"I found the questions were  very thoughtfully arranged, which lead to a more in-depth self-analysis as the program progressed for me.
I really liked how many of the early questions set the foundation for deeper reflection later on, which I found really helpful.

You don’t need to be more healed, more spiritual, more ready.

You just need to begin.

  • What’s the Difference between a Recovery Coach and a Sponsor?
A recovery coach is a professional who provides guidance and support to help you overcome addiction and navigate your recovery journey to create a balanced life by offering personalised strategies and tools. A sponsor, on the other hand, is usually someone from a 12-step program who shares their experience, strength, and hope with you and will guide you through the steps. While both offer support, a recovery coach provides more comprehensive assistance beyond the 12-step framework.
  • What is the difference between a recovery coach and a therapist?
A simple way of looking at this question is that a recovery coach focuses on looking forward, whereas a therapist tends to help you process the past. Delving a little deeper into this, a recovery coach supports you in achieving and maintaining your sobriety and life goals by offering practical guidance and accountability. A therapist focuses on addressing psychological and emotional issues underlying addiction. Both are valuable and often, having both a recovery coach and therapist can provide a holistic approach to recovery.
  • When is the best time to work with a recovery coach?
Now! If you are committed to overcoming addiction and creating positive change in your life, it is time to start working with a recovery coach. Whether you're just starting your recovery journey or facing challenges later on, working with a recovery coach can offer valuable insights, tools, and strategies to help you stay on track and build a healthier life.
  • I am currently in treatment; when is a good time to start with a recovery coach?
Starting to work with a recovery coach while in treatment can be advantageous as it prepares you for life after treatment, creating a smoother transition. Taking this into consideration, I would suggest starting with a recovery coach at least 2 weeks before your exit date; this way, your coach can collaborate with your treatment team to ensure a cohesive approach to your recovery journey.
  • Do I still need a recovery coach if I have free aftercare?
While aftercare from a treatment centre is beneficial, a recovery coach offers personalised and bespoke, ongoing support beyond the initial detox and treatment. A recovery coach will help you implement skills and tools, navigate challenges, and stay focused on your goals. Having a recovery coach can significantly enhance your chances of sustaining and enjoying long-term recovery.
  • Do I still need to attend 12 Step/Fellowship meetings if I’m working with a recovery coach?
Yes, if that is the path you have chosen. Attending meetings can still be beneficial. While a recovery coach offers personalised support, 12-step meetings provide a sense of community and shared experiences. They complement each other nicely, fostering a comprehensive support network.
  • What constitutes successful recovery?
Good and rewarding recovery involves not only abstaining from substances but also rebuilding a balanced life physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. It's about finding purpose, healthy coping mechanisms, and forging positive relationships, but just like you, it is unique. A recovery coach can help you achieve these aspects of recovery in a way that resonates with your individual needs and requirements.
  • Can working with a recovery coach guarantee sobriety?
While a recovery coach significantly increases your chances of sobriety, they can't guarantee it. Sustainable recovery depends on many factors, most importantly, your motivation, commitment, and effort. Other factors that can also affect your success are your support system, environment, goals, openness to continued learning, and lifestyle. A recovery coach provides tools and support, but your active participation is what will make the real difference.
  • What happens if I relapse while I am working with a recovery coach?
If you have a recurrence (relapse), your recovery coach is there to help you regain your footing sooner rather than later. They'll support you in understanding the triggers that destabilised you and develop strategies to prevent future relapses. A relapse doesn't mean failure; it's a possible part of the journey, and your recovery coach will continue to guide you through it.
